Responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented according to established recipes and quality standards
- Supervise and support Commis Chefs, Demi Chefs de Partie, and Chef de Partie team members during service
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to maintain consistency
- Coordinate mise en place and ensure all kitchen sections are adequately prepared for service
- Assist in inventory management, stock control, and ordering requirements
- Minimize food waste through effective planning and adherence to portion standards
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and health & safety regulations
- Support training and development initiatives for junior kitchen staff
- Assist with menu implementation, recipe adherence, and new dish development
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment
Requirements
- Diploma or Certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in professional kitchens
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or senior chef role
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and culinary standards
- Experience in high volume or premium dining environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and HACCP standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Position Summary
- We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and assist in delivering exceptional culinary experiences across our concepts.
