Our client, a leading engineering group in the Middle East, seeks an experienced Mechanical Draftsman for water treatment projects in Sharjah. The role involves preparing detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, including P&ID, GA, isometric, and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop P&ID, GA, isometric, fabrication, and installation drawings
- Prepare layouts for mechanical equipment, piping systems, and skid packages
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project teams, and site personnel for drawing updates
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
- Support project execution with accurate as built documentation
- Review technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering documents
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as Mechanical / MEP Draftsman
- Must be currently working in the water treatment industry
- Mandatory experience in STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of P&ID, GA, and Isometric Drawings
- Familiar with engineering standards such as ASME, NFPA, IEC

Job Summary
- Seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join the engineering team in Dubai.
- Ideal candidate will have strong experience in water treatment projects, particularly STP projects.
- Hands on expertise in preparing detailed mechanical drawings for fabrication, installation, and execution.
Key Responsibilities

- Candidates from reputed water treatment / EPC organizations such as Veolia, VA Tech Wabag, L&T, Corodex, Metito, Ion Exchange, or Therm.
