Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics models, cubes, dimensions, rules, and processes
- Schedule and automate TM1 processes for improved efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Build and support data analytics and reporting solutions for business stakeholders
- Gather and analyze business requirements, perform data validation, and ensure data quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve Cognos/TM1 and data related issues
- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to deliver scalable BI solutions
- Support Azure based data environments and reporting workflows
- Assist in developing dashboards and reports using Power BI
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in BI / Analytics / Reporting
- Strong expertise in IBM Cognos / TM1 (Planning Analytics) — Mandatory
- Good knowledge of SQL scripting
- Basic to intermediate Power BI knowledge
- Experience with DAX and Power Query
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Retail industry experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of Azure services / Azure Fundamentals (good to have)
- Experience with Python for analytics or automation (good to have)
- IBM TM1 / Power BI certifications (good to have)

Job Overview
- We are looking for a highly skilled BI Data Analyst with 4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reporting Solutions to join our team in Dubai on a contract basis.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM Cognos / TM1 (Planning Analytics), solid SQL scripting skills, and hands on experience in data analysis and reporting. Experience in the Retail domain is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
