Jr. Accountant

Treasury and Controls

• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital across multiple projects and entities.
• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Monitor banking facilities, loan covenants, project financing, collections, and developer receivables.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.

Team and Systems

• Supervise, mentor, and develop senior accountants, accountants, and accounts payable or receivable officers.
• Drive automation and ERP improvements across systems such as Oracle, SAP, Yardi, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, Focus, and Sage.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
• CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Eight to twelve years of progressive accounting experience, including four to five years in a senior or chief accountant role, is required.
• UAE real estate, property development, or real estate investment experience is mandatory.
• Experience with RERA escrow accounts, off-plan sales accounting, DLD compliance, and Big Four or top-tier audits is required.

Technical and Behavioral Skills

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 40, and IAS 2, is required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT law, Corporate Tax law, FTA filing procedures, and relevant real estate compliance is required.
• Proficiency in UAE real estate ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Power BI or similar reporting tools and Arabic are advantageous.
• Leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, integrity, organization, and prioritization skills are expected.
