It manages an undeveloped land bank of over 60 million square meters within Makkah, enabling large-scale urban development initiatives.
AlBalad AlAmeen works with a range of public and private stakeholders to deliver value-added, high-impact projects that align with the city’s development vision.
Role Description
The مدير العمليات المحاسبية والميزانية (Accounting Operations and Budget Manager) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mecca.
This role oversees daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
The position is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling the company’s budget, analyzing variances, and providing management with clear financial reports and performance insights.
The role includes developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, coordinating with internal departments to support project financial planning, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls.
The manager will lead and mentor the accounting team, resolve operational issues, and support internal and external audits while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver responsive and professional financial services.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management and budgeting skills, with experience overseeing accounting processes and budget planning and control.
- Advanced analytical skills, including financial analysis, variance analysis, and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Proven team management capabilities, including supervising, coaching, and developing accounting or finance teams.
- Customer service orientation, with the ability to provide clear, timely financial support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards, budgeting methodologies, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, as well as strong skills in spreadsheet and reporting tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Mecca, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
