Role purpose
Administer, maintain, support, and optimize Jira and other Atlassian tools.
Troubleshoot technical issues, ensure system availability, implement enhancements, manage integrations, and train users.
Administration and support
- Configure Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, issue types, screens, dashboards, filters, reports, and boards.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Jira and Confluence issues.
- Diagnose, resolve, escalate, and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Automation and integrations
- Implement add-ons, plugins, automation rules, Groovy scripting, and APIs to reduce manual work.
- Integrate Jira with CI/CD tools, monitoring systems, ITSM platforms, and other enterprise applications.
- Maintain API integrations and support database queries and data extraction for reporting.
Security and continuity
- Maintain data integrity, backups, security, user roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions and apply patches, upgrades, and security updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal security standards and industry best practices.
