Role Overview
The role is for a Java software engineer supporting enterprise application design, development, testing, implementation, and operational support.
The developer is expected to operate as a senior development team member with strong Java backend experience and some leadership responsibilities.
Mandatory Skills
- Mandatory skills include Java, SQL, Kafka, Spring Boot, microservices, and ReactJS.
- The role also requires web application experience with Angular 8 or above, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, JSON, CSS, and Ajax.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jasmine and Karma, Spring Framework, Hibernate, relational databases, and Unix/Linux commands is required.
- Experience with SOAP, REST, Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, JUnit, and automated testing tools is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide SME support and answer client queries about application capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver high-quality code.
- Monitor analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and support activities.
- Act as an SME for senior stakeholders and team members while managing delivery risks and control issues.
- Provide user and operational application support and work with limited direct supervision.
