Direct Responsibilities
- Develop, support, enhance, and troubleshoot applications.
- Demonstrate understanding of the application’s functional aspects.
- Prepare test plans and conduct unit and functional testing.
- Conduct integration and regression testing as required.
- Report progress to the Team Lead and escalate problems to local leadership or management.
- Follow project and organizational standards throughout software development and daily development work.
- Maintain Jira task records and Wiki documentation.
- Meet deadlines and keep the Team Lead informed of issues affecting project deliverables.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Develop solutions that fit specifications and architectural and infrastructure constraints.
- Propose solutions and approaches and provide impact analysis.
- Work with quality in mind across scope, defects, performance, and testing.
- Estimate work and report progress.
- Liaise with production release and support teams.
Technical Competencies
- Required technical skills include Java 11, Hibernate, web services, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, SQL, and database knowledge.
- Maven, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Kafka messaging, and shell scripting are nice-to-have skills.
