Role overview
The role is a Java Microservices Developer based in Bangalore.
The position supports technology and management consulting projects for banking, insurance, payment, and energy-sector clients.
The role requires 7+ years of experience in backend development with Java, microservices, and Kafka.
Skills and qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, webservices, microservices, SOAP, and REST.
- Basic database knowledge and experience with test-driven and behavior-driven development.
- Experience with at least one of GCP, AWS, or Azure, plus Kubernetes and containers.
- Ability to analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Experience assessing application and process improvements and gaining stakeholder buy-in.
- Ability to proactively communicate risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks.
- Experience leading and managing technical aspects of API framework design and development.
- Understanding of production incidents and root-cause analysis for delivered features.
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS design, Kafka, Kubernetes or ECS3, and Camunda BPM workflows.
