Role Overview
The Technology team develops backend systems and REST APIs supporting more than one billion searches per day.
The role contributes to products that collect and parse data across thousands of travel partners.
The developer works with business leaders and engineers on product roadmaps and innovative solutions.
Workplace
- The role follows a hybrid work model with two days in the office.
- On remaining days, employees may work remotely or from the office.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to critical projects that affect Priceline’s business strategy.
- Use Gemini, Cursor, and other generative AI tools to improve productivity.
- Develop high-performance cloud-native applications with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Build low-latency, high-throughput transactional services supported by CI/CD pipelines.
- Use SQL for real-time data collection, querying, investigation, and analysis.
- Use Splunk and New Relic for monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Work in a cross-functional Agile team focused on experimentation and delivery.
- Understand the codebase and business needs to implement application changes.
- Offer technical solutions and participate in constructive team decision-making.
