Role Overview
Seeking a Java Developer with hands-on experience and knowledge of current Java technologies and the Java ecosystem.
The role requires experience with modern Java technologies, including Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and NoSQL databases.
Core Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of current Java technologies and updates in the Java ecosystem.
- Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and practices.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
Java and Spring Details
- Java experience includes object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, Java 8 or later, lambda expressions, Stream API, REST services, JMS, and reactive programming.
- Spring Boot experience includes annotations, Maven, Spring JPA, Spring AOP, Spring Security, and JUnit.
- Microservices experience includes service discovery, cloud configuration, and Spring Cloud.
Databases and Tools
- Database technologies include Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Tools include STS, Eclipse, SoapUI, Postman, and Git.
Advantageous Skills
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment tools is advantageous.
- API Gateway knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with TFS or Git, Gradle, Maven, Azure DevOps, and build pipelines is advantageous.
- Cloud-ready technologies include Dockerfiles, containers, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.

Responsibilities
- Develop and support software using Java and the modern Java ecosystem.
- Implement services with Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Work with relational and NoSQL database technologies as part of application delivery.
- Use development, testing, version-control, and API tools such as Maven, JUnit, Git, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Collaborate with team members while taking ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of current Java technologies and the Java ecosystem.
- Experience with a modern Java technology stack, including Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and practices.
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
