Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive Angular applications and Spring Boot microservices.
• Build Java 17 applications using microservices architecture and clean coding practices.
• Implement versioned RESTful APIs with pagination, idempotency, error handling, and proper documentation.
• Develop and optimize MongoDB and SQL data models.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Apply enterprise architecture, domain-driven design, microservices, layered architecture, and clean architecture practices.
• Implement OAuth2/OIDC security, OWASP practices, input validation, interceptors, and filters.
• Implement logging, monitoring, metrics, traces, and observability.
• Develop unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Optimize performance and resilience with caching, retries, and circuit breakers.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and DevOps teams and support production issues.

Mandatory Skills

• Java 17, Java microservices, Spring Boot, and Angular are mandatory.
• Required frontend technologies include TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI, and accessibility.
• Required backend technologies include REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI or Swagger, API integration, and API security.
• Required database experience includes MongoDB and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

Optional Skills

• Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift deployment knowledge is optional.
• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, and Gradle experience is optional.
• JUnit, Mockito, Postman, RestAssured, Jasmine, Karma, and SonarQube experience is optional.
• Generative AI integration experience is advantageous.

Additional Expectations

• Strong understanding of cloud-native application design.
• Awareness of enterprise architecture governance standards.
• Experience working in Agile software development life cycle environments.
