Position Purpose
This is a senior Java backend developer position within the Banking Platform IT department and Corporate Credits business line.
The developer will work on development, maintenance, unit testing, and regression testing assignments.
Direct Responsibilities
- Study requirements, develop specifications, design, code, test, and implement systems according to standards and regulatory requirements.
- Handle development and design projects using Java, JEE, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Ensure thorough unit test case coverage.
- Perform estimation and planning and provide proactive status reporting.
- Work independently and train team members and junior resources when possible.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Contribute to hiring by conducting technical interviews.
- Contribute to code reviews and application quality.
- Perform impact analysis and assess possible regressions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation in the project repository.
Technical Skills
- Required technologies include Java 8 or above, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Bitbucket, JUnit, and JIRA.
- Jenkins, Maven, and DevOps tools are referenced in the role technology stack, with DevOps identified as nice to have.
Qualifications
- Five to eight years of experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- Required behavioral capabilities include collaboration, results orientation, knowledge sharing, adaptability, and supporting change.
