The Position at a Glance

Lead end-to-end finance implementation projects that modernize the general ledger and deliver new capabilities while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Project types include digital finance automation, regulatory reporting, business changes for new products, and internal finance initiatives.

In Detail

  • Execute end-to-end project lifecycles using V-Cycle or Agile methodologies.
  • Coordinate with IT and Finance and Treasury stakeholders for timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Define measurable goals and monitor progress against project objectives and scope.
  • Analyze current-state processes and define detailed business requirements, including the applicative chain.
  • Define accounting schemas and system architectures from upstream to downstream systems.
  • Manage test booklets, IST, IAT, and contributions to UAT with final users.
  • Conduct regular meetings covering objectives, status updates, and project roles.
  • Monitor software integration and implementation within BNP Paribas information systems.
  • Ensure data sourcing quality and provide project aftercare.

Strengths and Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting.
  • French and English language knowledge is required.
  • At least six years of experience in finance, banking, or project management focused on large-scale implementation initiatives.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to facilitate collaborative problem solving across dispersed teams.
  • Ability to apply project planning, methodology, governance, and budgeting practices.
  • Finance process and systems subject matter expertise.
  • Clear communication of complex financial concepts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Risk and impact assessment experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting and banking reconciliation.
