Core responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, security, connectivity, and performance incidents.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, WLAN, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and connectivity issues.
- Perform operating system installation, imaging, software deployment, system upgrades, and hardware replacement.
Backup and system recovery
- Back up important user files and business data before upgrades, hardware replacement, or troubleshooting.
- Create system images and clones of industrial PCs, production systems, and critical operational equipment.
- Restore cloned system images after hardware failure, operating system corruption, or other system issues.
Infrastructure and access support
- Install and update software, operating systems, and security tools.
- Monitor recurring issues, identify trends, and recommend service improvements.
- Support network upgrades, migrations, patching, and infrastructure changes.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Schedule and coverage
- Participate in shift rotations and provide overtime support when required.
Workplace support
- Provide on-site support to different company locations when required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience.
