Requirements
- Strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills
- Solid Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across hardware, software, and basic network environments
- Experience working with Desktop Computers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Foundational Information Technology knowledge, including operating systems, office productivity tools, and security practices
- Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Availability to work part time hours and flexibility to attend onsite requirements in Abu Dhabi

Role Description
- The IT Support Specialist role is a part time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home.
- The specialist will provide first line technical support for desktop computers and related IT systems, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for onsite and remote users.
- Day to day responsibilities include responding to help desk requests, setting up and configuring workstations and peripherals, maintaining user accounts and access permissions, and documenting support activities and resolutions.
- The role also involves monitoring system performance, coordinating with external vendors when needed, and supporting IT best practices to ensure data security and reliable operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills for resolving user issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across hardware, software, and basic network environments.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Desktop Computers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess foundational Information Technology knowledge, including operating systems, office productivity tools, and security practices.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an IT support or help desk role within industrial or engineering environments is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, customer focused mindset, and the ability to work independently and in coordination with cross functional teams.
- Availability to work part time hours and flexibility to attend onsite requirements in Abu Dhabi as needed.
