Role Description
Provide day-to-day remote technical assistance to team members in a part-time IT support role.
Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues to help minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to support requests and diagnose common technical problems.
- Configure and maintain desktop computers.
- Support printers and related devices, including setup, connectivity, and print-error resolution.
- Guide users through basic IT best practices.
- Document issues and resolutions and escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve IT service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Knowledge of operating systems, basic networking, and security fundamentals is required.
- Hands-on desktop computer installation, configuration, and maintenance experience is required.
- Practical printer support skills are required.
- Clear communication and the ability to explain technical issues simply are required.
- The ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting and manage multiple requests is required.
- Prior IT support or helpdesk experience is preferred.
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft are advantageous.
