Whitehats is seeking an experienced IT Support Field Engineer to join its team.
The role focuses on troubleshooting, IT infrastructure support, and customer service across client locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, and macOS issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments.
- Perform backup, recovery, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain documentation and manage support tickets within SLA timelines.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in an IT support, IT field engineering, desktop support, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, DNS, and Wi-Fi networking concepts.
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, endpoint security, and firewall administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client locations.
- A UAE driving license is preferred.
