IT Support Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Configure and maintain servers and firmware.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support for users and respond to system outages.
• Maintain knowledge of system hardware and software and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Technical Skills

• Server configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance are required.
• Computer and network security experience must include firewalls, antivirus software, and malware protection.
• The role requires familiarity with virtual network solutions and command-line interfaces for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
• Technical customer support and strong communication are important parts of the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft certification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ADMCC Certified Engineer qualification is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,000–AED 4,000 per month.

Workplace

• The work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
• Reliable commuting or relocation to Abu Dhabi before starting is preferred.
