Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Desktop Support / IT Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing IT team.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in server configuration, diagnostics, and infrastructure maintenance, with a strong background in network security, endpoint protection, and remote support solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual systems, including the latest servers and firmware
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Maintain a solid understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, and enterprise Wi-Fi networks
- Implement and maintain endpoint security, secure remote access, firewalls, antivirus, and malware protection policies
- Provide exceptional technical support to users remotely and on-site, responding promptly to system outages and critical issues
- Develop and maintain thorough system documentation, security procedures, and compliance standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Mandatory)
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar technical role
- Strong proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux command-line interfaces
- Experience with Windows/Linux servers, Office 365, Active Directory, and virtualization
- Familiarity with virtual network solutions and remote troubleshooting
