Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Desktop Support / IT Support Engineer with 1–3 years of experience.
The role supports infrastructure, system administration, network security, endpoint protection, and remote support solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual systems, including servers and firmware.
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Maintain LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, and enterprise Wi-Fi networks.
- Implement endpoint security, secure remote access, firewalls, antivirus, and malware protection policies.
- Provide technical support to users remotely and on-site and respond to outages and critical issues.
- Maintain system documentation, security procedures, and compliance standards.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.
- One to three years of hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar technical role is required.
