About the Role
TGD Services DMCC is hiring an IT Support Engineer to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, install and configure systems, and provide user support. Requires 2+ years of experience, strong Windows and Linux knowledge, and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for users
- Set up and configure computer systems, software, networks, printers, and other peripherals
- Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in person
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as Active Directory, software updates, backups, and security checks (Linux and Windows based)
- Keep track of hardware and software assets
- Maintain records of issues, solutions, and user information
- Educate users on new technologies and software
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field (3 years preferable)
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good hands on with Windows OS (preferably expert)
- Experience or basic understanding of Linux OS (preferably good hands on)
- Understanding of networking connectivity and basic principles (VPN, TCP/IP, Routing, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)

Job Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Keeping track of hardware and software assets.
- Documentation: Maintaining records of issues, solutions, and user information.
- Training: Educating users on new technologies and software.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within a relevant field (3 years preferable).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
- Communication: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, for explaining technical concepts to non technical users.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially in a fast paced environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn new skills quickly.
- Good hands on with Windows OS (preferably an expert).
- Experience or basic understanding of the Linux OS (preferably good hands on).
- Understanding of Networking connectivity and basic principles (VPN, TCP/IP, Routing, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
Compensation
- Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
