IT Specialist (system admin, on-site)

Location and Work Arrangement

• The role requires onsite presence in the Media City Area of Dubai.
• The role is open only to candidates currently based in Dubai.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain company devices and equipment.
• Manage VPN access and monitor secure connections for compliance.
• Create and maintain company accounts across systems.
• Control user access and permissions through authorization protocols.
• Implement privacy and security best practices and ensure data protection compliance.
• Monitor and report security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support and resolve IT issues for partner staff.
• Maintain IT records and provide reports on operations and security status.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of IT management or system administration experience.
• Strong VPN configuration and network security knowledge.
• Experience with user account management and access control systems.
• Proficiency with device management and endpoint security tools.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations and data protection standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and independent-working skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ or a similar security certification.
• International or multi-location IT operations experience.
• Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure.
• IT asset management systems experience.
• Knowledge of emerging security threats and mitigation strategies.
