Role overview

IT services and operations

• Review existing IT services and operations designs and introduce relevant improvement initiatives.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning for IT services and operations.
• Oversee servers, virtualization, operating systems, databases, storage, backup, and archiving systems.
• Manage third-level technical support and lead infrastructure-as-a-service solutions.

Testing and systems optimization

• Maintain testing platforms that reflect live environments of critical systems before deployment.
• Lead testing tools and methodologies, capacity management, database tuning, optimization, and system health checks.

Data center management

• Monitor data center infrastructure for high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Maintain security measures protecting data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Optimize energy usage and cooling systems to reduce costs and prevent equipment failure.
• Conduct disaster recovery, capacity planning, and resource management to support resilience and scalability.

Service and network management

• Partner with executive leadership to provide technical and business guidance and ensure clear objectives.
• Track project deliverables, service quality, process adherence, reporting, delays, and schedule changes.
• Oversee network services across development, test, and production environments.
• Lead network design, connectivity, security analysis, implementation, recovery planning, and standards coordination.

Strategy, leadership, and governance

• Develop and implement department strategy aligned with JCDC’s vision, mission, and divisional objectives.
• Lead staff performance, motivation, and talent development for the assigned section.
• Recommend and monitor the department budget and financial performance.
• Implement department policies, procedures, controls, and continuous change initiatives.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in a similar field, including 3 years in a managerial role, is required.

Job-specific skills

• Excellent information technology management knowledge and strategic project leadership are required.
• Excellent English is required; Arabic is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Understanding of KSA and GCC cultural and professional environments is required.
• Knowledge of market practices, laws, compliance, technical best practices, mentoring, and innovation is required.
