The IT Project Manager leads end-to-end IT project delivery while ensuring business requirements are captured, analyzed, and translated into technical solutions.
The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to support successful project outcomes.
Project delivery
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects from initiation to closure.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Define project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare project status reports and executive updates.
- Ensure change management and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements and coordination
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Coordinate development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
- Perform impact analysis and support solution design decisions.
- Support user acceptance testing and successful delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Three to six years of experience in IT project management and/or business analysis.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Experience managing cross-functional IT projects.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of system integration and enterprise applications.
