The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and compile data to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations for business actions.
Responsibilities
- Gather business intelligence from company data, industry and field reports, public information, and purchased sources.
- Analyze related products, markets, and trends to assess market strategies.
- Use business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.
- Identify markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products.
- Compile business intelligence and trends to support actionable recommendations.
- Maintain knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
- Compare and contrast products using what-if parameters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Business, or Physics.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Python.
- Ability to collect and compile relevant data from different sources.
- Strong business analysis skills and systematic analytical thinking.
- Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Thorough understanding of company business processes and the wider industry.
