Role Overview
Seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and purchasing of IT hardware, software, and technology-related products.
The role requires vendor management, negotiation, inventory planning, cost optimization, and knowledge of the IT products market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable IT suppliers and vendors.
- Source products based on pricing, availability, quality, warranty, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, licensing, warranties, and service-level agreements.
- Manage purchase orders, deliveries, backorders, supplier commitments, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and asset lifecycles.
- Coordinate purchasing forecasts and budgets with sales, engineering, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Analyze IT spending and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve supplier delays, shortages, warranty concerns, and discrepancies.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT procurement or technology purchasing, including UAE experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, IT products, components, accessories, software, and related technologies.
