About the Role
Magna International seeks an IT PLM Expert for an 18-month contract to support 3DEXPERIENCE implementation. Responsibilities include data migration, validation cycles, and coordination with Dassault Systems.

Responsibilities
- Work primarily as assistant, support and execute hands on along with the PLM Technical Specialist who leads Magna’s data migration representative during the 3DEXPERIENCE implementation
- Assist and support activities deemed by the Data Migration Working Group lead by Magna’s Engineering, Document Control, SMEs to drive decisions and resolve technical issues
- Participate in internal validation cycles for each mock migration and final cutover, ensuring timely review by SMEs and formal business sign off
- Performs required work assigned by Magna IT Team as per Dassault Work package delivery cadence
- Provide expertise to Magna IT Team for supporting Dassault’s re run decisions and sequencing
- Participate and assist Magna with go/no go criteria for data readiness, business downtime communications and validation scheduling, post load verification steps and handover to internal deciding factors
- Support Magna Team during and validation of data mapping, transformation rules, and alignment from legacy systems (TC Ent) into 3DEXPERIENCE
- Work and execute along with Dassault Systems for multiple migration cycles: Mock up migrations / trial loads with reconciliation and correction loops, final production cutover execution
- Support PLM Technical IT Team to workstreams required for 3DEXPERIENCE delivery, including environment, access, security, connectivity, and operational readiness
- Assist the IT PLM Technical Specialist during Interfacing with Dassault for maintaining technical infrastructure, integrations, performance, and deployment risks; drive mitigation and escalation
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise initiatives (PLM/ERP/engineering systems/digital transformation)
- 3+ years experience in PLM environments supporting engineering and product data lifecycles
- Strong working knowledge of BOM structures (EBOM/MBOM), product configuration, change control, document release governance, and configuration management principles
- Experience managing requirements, scope change, RAID, integrated planning, UAT, and cutover/go live activities
- Proficiency with PM tooling (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and reporting (Excel/Power BI)
- Hands on experience delivering Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE implementations or upgrades
- Automotive experience with NPI and program delivery frameworks (stage gate, APQP, PPAP familiarity is a plus)
- Exposure to integration patterns (APIs, middleware) and enterprise systems such as ERP/MES/QMS
- Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master/Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe as applicable)

Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise initiatives (PLM/ERP/engineering systems/digital transformation)
- 3+ years experience in PLM environments supporting engineering and product data lifecycles
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams across Engineering, Document Control, IT and Manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of BOM structures (EBOM/MBOM), product configuration, change control (ECR/ECO/ECN), revisioning, effectivity, document release governance and configuration management principles
- Experience managing requirements, scope change, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), integrated planning, UAT, and cutover/go live activities.
- Proficiency with PM tooling (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc.) and reporting (Excel/Power BI)
- Hands on experience delivering Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE implementations or upgrades
- Some exposure integrating PLM with Altium Enterprise and/or electrical CAD/ECAD data processes
- Automotive experience with NPI and program delivery frameworks (stage gate, APQP, PPAP familiarity is a plus)
- Exposure to integration patterns (APIs, middleware) and enterprise systems such as ERP/MES/QMS
- Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master/Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe as applicable)
Salary Range
- CAD 120,000 CAD 150,000 Annual
