Overview
- Leading and managing cross-functional development teams (developers, QA, BAs)
- Implementing Agile methodologies and development best practices
- Establishing governance around tools, processes, and delivery frameworks
- Supporting cloud hosting and DevOps operations (AWS/Azure)
- Driving technical delivery for ongoing feature development and client deployments
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of 15–20 engineers, QA professionals, and business analysts
- Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and drive meaningful career growth initiatives
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Recruit, onboard, and scale the engineering team as the company grows
- Lead Agile/Scrum delivery: sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and standups
- Establish and enforce SDLC best practices and code review standards
- Introduce and manage project management tooling (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or equivalent)
- Implement version control workflows (Git) and CI/CD pipelines that keep releases smooth and predictable
- Ensure on-time delivery of features aligned with the product roadmap and client commitments
- Provide architectural guidance on design patterns, technology stack decisions, and platform scalability
- Support and optimize cloud hosting environments (AWS/Azure): deployment, monitoring, cost control, and security
- Oversee DevOps practices: containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes basics), and automated deployments
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance across a mission-critical healthcare platform
- Partner with Product to translate business requirements into well-scoped technical deliverables
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly to executive leadership
- Support client-facing activities: technical demos, integration planning, and post-deployment support
- Contribute to long-term technology strategy and platform evolution planning
