IT Integration Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Boomi AtomSphere and Informatica integrations.
• Develop API-based, event-driven, and batch integrations with reusable components and canonical data models.
• Create mappings, transformations, and orchestrations across ERP, CRM, HCM, data lakes, warehouses, and third-party systems.
• Implement ETL pipelines and incremental-load ingestion frameworks.
• Manage Boomi Atoms, Molecules, environments, and deployment pipelines.
• Administer Informatica repositories, connections, secure agents, schedules, and runtime infrastructure.
• Monitor performance and implement alerting, observability, and error handling.
• Enforce API security, secrets management, OAuth 2.0/JWT, and applicable data protection.
• Maintain data governance, audit requirements, lineage, and metadata.
• Drive version control, code reviews, CI/CD, and automated integration testing.
• Create design specifications, mapping documents, and support playbooks.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement prevention.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of enterprise integration experience using Boomi and Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, web services, JSON/XML/XSD, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT, data modeling, and SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with secure agent management, environment promotion, and multi-tenant integration patterns.
• Familiarity with IAM, OAuth, SSO/SAML, and secrets management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience using AI tools for analysis, workflow design, process optimization, or strategic initiatives.
• Ability to design prompts and workflows for AI tools.
• Experience testing, validating, and refining AI-generated outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI, ethics, and data governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IDMC services including Cloud Data Integration, API Management, Data Quality, or MDM/360.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, CDC, and streaming pipelines.
• Background in ERP, CRM, or HCM integrations such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or Concur.
• Boomi Integration Architect or Informatica Professional/Practitioner certification is nice to have.
