Role Overview
The Multifamily IT Director is the on-site team resource for multifamily software implementation and maintenance needs.
The role reports directly to the COO and supports projects involving training, vendor-managed system installations, and troubleshooting of down systems.
The IT Director serves as a subject matter expert for multifamily building technology software, integrated hardware, and building systems.
Responsibilities
- Support software upgrades, implementations, integrations, and maintenance for property-specific technology.
- Manage vendors during installation of new systems.
- Provide technical support and initial troubleshooting to on-site teams.
- Validate and test proposed resolutions and software releases.
- Identify technology requirements, gaps, pain points, opportunities, and inefficiencies.
- Conduct in-person and web-based training for in-house and vendor products.
- Modify current learning programs and create standard operating procedures for tools and software.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on multifamily software, integrated hardware, and building systems.
