Tamara Polyclinics is seeking an IT Executive for its DOH-regulated outpatient healthcare facility in Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi.
The role manages healthcare systems, cybersecurity compliance, health information exchange connectivity, data handling, and clinic IT infrastructure.
The position reports to Executive Management and supports clinical, coding, and quality-reporting teams.
Workplace and employment
- Work location is in person in Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The description states that the employment type is full-time.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 3,000 to AED 4,000 per month, based on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Own ADHICS compliance, maintain facility-tier controls, and prepare documentation and evidence for DOH audits and license renewal.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the Malaffi health information exchange connection, including data exchange integrity and uptime.
- Ensure patient health data handling meets DOH privacy requirements and UAE health data residency rules.
- Support DOH Clinical Costing, JAWDA KPI reporting, and Tasneef JDC audit cycles with accurate, accessible, audit-ready data.
- Manage and secure the practice management or EMR system, Shafafiya claims connectivity, and related clinical IT infrastructure.
- Act as the technical and systems contact for DOH, Malaffi, and Tasneef.
- Track ADHICS, DOH health information exchange, and related regulatory updates and translate them into clinic changes.
Required qualifications
- Proven IT experience in a DOH-regulated healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.
- Hands-on ADHICS compliance experience, including understanding clinic or small-facility tier controls and audit assessment.
- Experience maintaining a live Malaffi connection for a healthcare provider.
- Familiarity with DOH data privacy requirements and UAE health data residency rules.
- Ability to support Tasneef JDC, JAWDA KPI reporting, and DOH Clinical Costing from a systems and data perspective.
- Strong troubleshooting across practice management systems, claims connectivity, and clinic IT infrastructure.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.
Preferred background
- Experience across more than one DOH-regulated facility or claims-volume tier is desirable.
- A background supporting clinical coding or KPI data extraction for regulatory submissions is desirable.
