Responsibilities
- Program assessment and planning
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client business and priorities
- Evaluate and quantify client specific opportunities and risks in the local market context
- Integrate insights from recent market trends into business performance improvement plans
- Handle all aspects of scheme pricing (interchange and scheme pricing)
- Deployment and implementation of initiatives
- Set up a center of engagement to coordinate across key schema initiatives
- Implement priority value realization activities with rigor and discipline
- Deploy selected optimal mix of schema products and services
- Coordinate resources, schema, client and third parties to ensure quality of client activities
- Ensure compliance with scheme mandates and regulations
- Review P&L lines for issuing business to ensure financial feasibility
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or equivalent work experience
- Over 10 years of proven experience in project management with focus on end to end project management of complex projects in the payments domain
- Extensive experience working on payment products and proposition launches
- In depth understanding of interchange, scheme pricing and regulations
- Solid organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and effective multitasking
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
