Role Overview
Evaluate and manage investment opportunities, monitor the company’s investment portfolio, and support investment transactions and strategic initiatives.
Report directly to the CFO and provide analysis and recommendations to support informed decision-making and maximize returns.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential investments and prepare financial, commercial, and feasibility analyses.
- Conduct local and regional market and sector research.
- Develop and review models covering NPV, IRR, ROI, payback, sensitivity, and scenario analysis.
- Manage portfolio performance and recommend actions to maximize returns.
- Participate in M&A, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures through closing.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary due diligence and assess investment risks.
- Support deal structuring, financing alternatives, cost of capital analysis, and negotiations.
- Maintain relationships with investors, funds, banks, developers, advisors, and strategic partners.
- Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations for senior decision-makers.
- Support investment policies, governance frameworks, delegated authorities, and approval procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant investment, portfolio management, financial services, transactions, or related experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in an investment management role.
- Proven track record evaluating and executing investments and transactions with measurable outcomes.
- Strong hands-on experience in M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and due diligence.
- Strong knowledge of valuation, financial modeling, feasibility studies, portfolio management, and risk-return analysis.
- Experience in deal structuring, financing, and working with banks, investors, or financial institutions.
- Investment, financing, or real estate development experience is preferred.
- An MBA or related master’s degree and CFA or CAIA certification are preferred.
