Role Description
Part-time, remote Investment Director role overseeing Ektifa's investment activities in agriculture and livestock.
The role supports food security, sustainability, strategic projects, compliance, and long-term resource optimization.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities.
- Perform financial and market analyses and develop investment strategies.
- Manage and monitor existing investment portfolios and assess risks and returns.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on strategic projects.
- Support compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong investment management and investment expertise, including portfolio or project management experience in agriculture, food security, or related sectors.
- Advanced analytical skills and finance knowledge, including financial modeling and data-driven decision support.
- Proven ability to design and implement strategies balancing risk, return, and sustainability.
- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Experience in government-related entities, impact investing, or sustainable development is advantageous.
