The COO oversees daily operations and ensures alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
The role covers agricultural and livestock operations, process improvement, resource allocation, performance monitoring, risk management, and operational finance.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and optimization of agricultural and livestock operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine business plans and support food security initiatives.
- Review operational budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide data-driven efficiency recommendations.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, maintain regulatory compliance, and guide teams toward measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong business planning and strategic development skills are required.
- Proven operations management expertise, including process optimization, resource management, and performance tracking, is required.
- Advanced analytical skills and knowledge of finance, budgeting, and cost control are required.
- Agriculture, livestock production, or related-sector experience is highly beneficial.
- Leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are required.
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Operations, or a related field is required.
