About the Role
EFG International seeks an Investment Consultant to join the Local Investment Advisory team in Dubai. The role involves advising clients on investment solutions, creating tailored proposals, monitoring portfolios, and partnering with Client Relationship Officers.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients and partner with Client Relationship Officers to assess investment needs based on risk profile
- Develop comprehensive investment strategy and coordinate sales and execution
- Monitor performance and appropriateness of client's overall investment portfolio
- Create tailor made investment proposals across different markets with appropriate products and services
- Observe and analyse financial markets to monitor and develop client's investment strategies
- Be proactive and in regular contact with clients and CROs to inform them of markets and portfolio evolution
- Provide input and support for development of new business initiatives and product enhancement
- Promote discretionary mandates to increase penetration
- Contribute to increase of client share of wallet
- Comply with all internal and external regulations and procedures
Requirements
- University degree in economics or finance, or comparable qualifications (CFA, AZEK etc)
- Minimum 10 years client facing experience in investment advisory and sales; portfolio management, brokerage or institutional sales useful
- Extensive knowledge of private banking business (onshore and offshore), and competitive and regulatory environment
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments across all asset classes, ESG and Alternatives a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work under pressure
- Results oriented with ability to proactively and independently solve problems
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Bloomberg

Job Description
- As a member of the Local Investment Advisory team, you will be responsible for the advice of investment solutions to clients and prospects, partnering with Private Banking Client Relationship Officers to offer appropriate investment solutions.

Skills And Experience
