Role Description
This is a full-time remote inventory management assistant or specialist role supporting accurate and efficient inventory operations.
The role monitors stock, updates records, supports counts, coordinates shipping and receiving, and helps resolve discrepancies.
The specialist uses computer systems to document transactions and communicates with team members and vendors to support timely order fulfillment.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and update inventory records.
- Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, stock checks, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities and verify shipment documentation.
- Resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support inventory control processes and prepare basic reports.
- Use computer systems to track, adjust, and document inventory transactions.
- Communicate with team members and vendors to maintain smooth workflows and timely fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Shipping and receiving skills are required to manage materials and verify documentation.
