Job Overview
The Inventory Coordinator supports the Logistics department and ensures logistics duties are completed accurately.
The role supports warehouse practices, inventory control, transportation, receiving, shipping, and delivery coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor product movement and storage and ensure transportation functions are accurate and efficient.
- Enter purchase orders promptly and advise management about cycle count and inventory issues.
- Update operating systems, reconcile inventory at month-end, and maintain internal inventory reports.
- Monitor offsite warehouse inventory and coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Build outbound shipments, monitor shortages, and investigate overs, shortages, damages, and customer chargebacks.
- Trace finished-good transfers and verify outgoing shipments and related logistics documents.
- Complete receiving and shipping paperwork and schedule inbound and outbound deliveries.
Qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma is required.
- At least two years of related experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, accuracy, and computer skills are required.
- Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and health and safety requirements is required.
- The role requires the ability to learn the in-house system and work with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be able to work in a team, with minimal supervision, and manage competing priorities.
