Job Overview
The Associate Manager, Marketing supports the Product Manager with tactical execution of corporate and marketing plans, strategies and projects.
The role supports existing marketing campaigns and the development of new products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and commercialization of new product lines and evaluate target audiences and marketing strategy effectiveness.
- Create product specifications, analyze sales and category reports, and participate in sensory tastings, plant trials and first production runs.
- Manage new-product costing and create brochures, sell sheets, product photography, launch presentations and product manuals.
- Create and review packaging, label design, copy and artwork.
- Support marketing, sales and production decisions and maintain existing product lines.
- Support product-line review and rationalization.
- Maintain US and Canadian ECC NET records, manage customer portals, submit purchase orders and update project reports.
Recipe for Success
- College diploma in marketing, business or a related field.
- Minimum five years of product marketing experience.
- Experience creating marketing and selling materials, including brochures, sell sheets, website and social media content, and presentations.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, problem solve and respond urgently to internal and external partners.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization, self-direction and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
