Role Overview

Nufarm is hiring an Inventory Controller Coordinator based in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

The role supports accurate inventory and efficient production operations by overseeing raw material consumption and production postings.

The position partners with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory controls.

Responsibilities

  • Complete inventory consumption transactions accurately and resolve variances promptly, including during month-end close.
  • Review daily batch and pack variances using Tableau and document root causes such as rework or material substitutions.
  • Implement process improvements with stakeholders to reduce future variances.
  • Perform weekly reconciliations of raw materials, finished goods, and bulk storage when applicable.
  • Lead daily cycle counts and process validated inventory adjustments.
  • Coordinate and lead on-site physical inventories from planning through execution.
  • Investigate inventory accuracy issues across the site.
  • Track and report weekly variance metrics and inventory accuracy.
  • Provide backup support for material analyst responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus at least five years of materials management, inventory, or accounting experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
  • Experience managing production variance transactions in a process, non-discrete environment.
  • Hands-on ERP experience with Oracle, SAP, or a similar system, including shipping, receiving, and production postings.
  • Strong understanding of material transactions and production inventory controls.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and effective in a fast-paced team environment.

Compensation

  • Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year depending on geographic market and job-related factors.
  • Additional compensation may be available depending on the position, along with medical, financial, and other benefits.
