Role Overview

Full-time, mid-level Inventory Controller role.

Oversee inventory accuracy, stock movements, warehouse records, and inventory control activities.

Work with Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Operations teams.

Inventory Control

  • Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and storage locations.
  • Maintain records of receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
  • Conduct physical stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
  • Investigate discrepancies and identify root causes of stock variances.
  • Reconcile physical inventory with ERP, WMS, and system records.
  • Identify shortages, excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.

Operations and Reporting

  • Coordinate stock handling and documentation with Warehouse and Operations teams.
  • Support replenishment activities to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Verify inventory transactions, delivery documents, goods receipts, and adjustments.
  • Prepare inventory, stock movement, variance, and performance reports.
  • Manage damaged, expired, obsolete, and excess inventory.
  • Recommend process improvements to improve accuracy, reduce losses, and increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stock management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse control procedures.
  • Experience with counts, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory accuracy, stock turnover, replenishment, and control practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
  • ERP, WMS, or warehouse management systems experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, coordinate cross-functionally, and resolve operational issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or operational environment.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or business field is preferred.
