Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Financial & Accounting, the Inventory Control Associate is responsible for overseeing and reconciling AR / AP data and transactions; as well as maintaining and ensuring accuracy of store’s inventory record.
You Will
Ensure accuracy and consistency of invoices & documents to comply with all applicable store inventory receipts requirements
Monitor receiving transactions and perform itemized data entry of trade/supplies invoices
Update stores’ inventory cost and quantity
Maintain an accurate record of store inventory receipts transactions
Verify incoming invoices with proper authorization that complies with A/P requirements
Stay current with different inventory control practices, and system changes
Perform any other duties as assigned
You Have/Should
Post-secondary education in Accounting or related fields an asset
Good general knowledge and understanding on accounting
Data entry skills and produce work with a high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Work experience in any Enterprise Information System is an asset
Strong analytic and organization skills; able to prioritize and multi-tasking
Meticulous with a strong attention to detail
Able to handle confidential information professionally and in an ethical manner
Able to work in a fast-paced office environment with minimum supervision
Demonstrate a keen sense of urgency and commitment to follow up and meet multiple deadlines without compromising work quality
Able to communicate in English
