Meat & Seafood Associate

Reporting to the Meat & Seafood Department Manager (or his/her delegates), the Meat & Seafood Associate is responsible for preparing various meat and seafood products in advance for customers to choose from. The position also needs to stock products onto the display cases in the sales area, follow FIFO concept, provide good service to our customers by fulfilling their requests, and maintain inventory and workplace cleanliness.

You Will

Maintain inventory and product quality, follow FIFO concept; ensure full display of various meat and seafood products

Follow procedures to process expired products and assist department to control shrinkage

Prepare various fresh & frozen products for sales activities, including but not limited to basic cuts, pack and label various products and display them in the display coolers and freezers

Greet customers by providing good customer service with smile, friendly enthusiasm

Assist customers in selecting meat and seafood products and provide recommendations to them, as required

Maintain workplace cleanliness by washing and sanitizing. To ensurerelevant work tools are clean and well-kept.

Keep display areas, back room, storage areas, walk-in coolers and walk-infreezers clean and tidy.

Familiar with the location of various meat and seafood products; keepself-updated with all in Meat & Seafood Department promotional activities

Be prepared to stand long time and to hands on dealing with meat and seafood products and lifting of products of 50 pounds on a regular basis;able to use working related tools in a safe manner
