- Develop and own the organization's internal communications strategy aligned to corporate purpose, vision, values, and business objectives
- Design and implement leadership engagement programs including CEO townhalls, leadership briefings, and cascade communications
- Lead the rollout and activation of organizational values and culture through internal narratives and campaigns
- Oversee change and transformation communications supporting organizational growth and restructuring
- Manage intranet platform governance, content relevance, and continuous improvement
- Oversee production of monthly internal newsletter and structured internal emailers
- Manage internal retreats, awards, announcements, and pulse/engagement surveys
- Prepare weekly internal reporting into leadership with forward looking activities calendar
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in a generalist communications role with internal communications experience, ideally for a government entity
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience managing intranet platforms and internal digital channels
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports

About the Role
- Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is seeking an experienced and strategic Internal Communications Manager to lead internal communications initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, enhance organizational culture, and support business priorities.
Functional Activities
- Develop and own the organization's internal communications strategy aligned to corporate purpose, vision, values, and business objectives
- Establish and oversee a robust internal communications framework with governance, messaging hierarchies, and best practice standards
- Design and implement leadership engagement programs including CEO townhalls, leadership briefings, and cascade communications
- Lead the rollout and activation of organizational values and culture through internal narratives and campaigns
- Oversee change and transformation communications supporting organizational growth and restructuring
- Develop measurement frameworks for internal communications effectiveness with KPIs across reach, engagement, sentiment, and trust
- Champion employee voice and feedback loops from surveys and engagement initiatives
- Lead intranet strategy, governance, and continuous improvement
- Manage distribution of employee announcements through Microsoft Teams, email, digital noticeboards
- Oversee monthly internal newsletter production and structured internal emailers
- Manage internal retreats, awards, announcements, and pulse/engagement surveys
- Prepare weekly internal reporting into leadership with forward looking activities calendar
Experience
- 7+ years experience in a generalist communications role with internal communications experience, ideally for a government entity
- Experience coordinating tasks with vendors and consultancies
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
- Demonstrated experience managing intranet platforms and internal digital channels
- Experience managing surveys and engagement analytics
Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master's degree in Strategic Communications, Organizational Psychology, or MBA preferred
- Certifications in Change Management or Internal Communications are advantageous
