About the Role
Al Khoory Group is seeking an Internal Auditor to perform objective assessments of financial and operational activities, ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies. The role involves developing audit plans, reviewing transactions, and recommending controls.

Responsibilities
- Develop annual internal audit plan and checklist by identifying and evaluating audit risk areas.
- Conduct periodic audits as per the audit plan and submit findings and suggestions.
- Recommend various internal controls based on audit findings.
- Review tenant lease agreements in line with the RERA Index.
- Review progressive payment certificates prepared by Engineering Consultants.
- Conduct concurrent verification of financial transactions before management approval.
- Assist in preparation of financial budget and feasibility studies on various projects.
- Conduct special field audits on request to investigate critical business segments and recommend measures.
Requirements
- CA Inter or MBA Finance
- 3 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management, and control frameworks
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with data analytics tools

Job Purpose
- Perform objective assessments of the organization’s financial and operational activities to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of controls over operating processes and conduct audit assignments in accordance with accepted professional standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing annual internal audit plan and checklist by identifying and evaluating audit risk areas.
- Periodic Audit as per the audit plan and submission of findings and suggestions.
- Recommending various internal Controls based on the audit findings.
- Review of tenant lease agreements in line with the RERA Index.
- Review of progressive payment certificate prepared by the Engineering Consultants.
- Concurrent verification of all financial transactions prior to the approval of the management (Ex: commercial contracts, bank payments vouchers, BOQ, pricing strategy, costing, procurements etc.)
- Review & assistance in preparation of financial budget and feasibility studies on various projects.
- Conduct special field audit on request of the operating companies or on the advice of the management or as required by the circumstances to thoroughly investigate the critical segment of the business, identify the weaker and problem areas and recommend measures for effective control.
Job Requirement
- CA Inter, MBA Finance
- 3 5 years of relevant experience
