Internal Auditor

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform internal audit assignments under the approved audit plan and Team Leader guidance.
• Review records, transactions, systems, and internal controls for compliance with company policies, procedures, applicable regulations, and management directives.
• Collect and analyze audit evidence to support audit findings and conclusions.
• Interview relevant personnel and review documents to understand business processes and identify control weaknesses.
• Prepare and maintain accurate audit working papers in accordance with internal audit standards.
• Identify audit findings, control deficiencies, operational risks, and process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare draft audit observations and recommendations for Team Leader review.
• Assist with audit reports, supporting documentation, and risk ratings.
• Conduct follow-up reviews to verify agreed corrective actions are implemented and effective.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform duties with integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism.
• Keep up to date with internal auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• 2–4 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• CIA certification or progress toward CIA certification is preferred.
