Role Overview
Conduct audits of store operations, business processes, and accounting processes.
Evaluate whether company policies and rules are operated effectively.
Manage issues related to security, loss, policy non-compliance, safety, and contingency or crisis management.
Implement initiatives to reduce risks related to security, stock loss, shrinkage, safety, and crisis management.
Audit and Store Visits
- Visit stores across the UAE and GCC as required to conduct audits at least monthly or more frequently when needed.
- Draft and review loss prevention and other relevant processes and procedures.
- Check daily cash banking and verify that foreign currency received during sales is properly accounted for and banked.
- Perform spot till checks and review manual billing, voids, returns, refunds, staff discounts, and other discounts.
- Verify petty cash and extra cash float handling, usage, and recording.
- Audit company and mall gift vouchers, amounts due from mall management, and timely submissions.
- Check the usage and recording of non-stock items received from suppliers.
