Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIA certification
- 10 years of experience in corporate internal audit or public accounting
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Excellent knowledge of audit standards and methodologies
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience in GCC or Big4 preferred

Job Purpose
- To lead and implement a comprehensive approach for internal audit and provide independent assurance on risk management, controls, and governance.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute long term audit plans by identifying audit areas and reviewing risk register.
- Direct the development of detailed audit assignments including methodology and resources.
- Oversee and lead execution of audit engagements at headquarters and on site locations.
- Review procedures and records for adequacy and appraise policies and plans.
- Conduct follow up audits to ensure recommendations are adhered to.
- Oversee development of audit findings reports ensuring accuracy and validity.
- Report audit observations and conclusions objectively.
- Assist process owners in evolving corrective actions based on audit reports.
- Apprise external auditors about key findings of internal audit.
- Coordinate with external auditors, shareholders' auditors, and professional bodies.
- Oversee implementation of ad hoc audits such as investigations of financial mismanagement.
- Develop and direct implementation of department strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIA certification required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in corporate internal audit or public accounting.
- Previous internal audit experience in GCC highly desirable.
- Experience from Big4 preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Excellent knowledge of audit standards, techniques, and methodologies.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High integrity and conscientiousness.
