Campaign & Transformational Giving | Major Gifts | Leadership Giving

Key Responsibilities

• Throughout the program, interns will have the opportunity to:
• Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies and donor engagement initiatives across multiple giving programs and campaigns (e.g., Breakthrough Fund, Innovators, Women Powered)
• Conduct donor and prospect research, including prospect identification, pipeline development, and preparation of donor briefing materials
• Maintain and update donor records and engagement activity within the Foundation’s CRM database
• Assist with donor meeting coordination, impact reporting, hospital tours, and stewardship activities
• Provide project management and administrative support to the Campaign & Transformational Giving team on high-priority initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Corporate & Community Partnerships, Stewardship & Donor Relations, Research & Analytics, and Gift Administration
• Partner with hospital stakeholders to better understand funding priorities and communicate donor impact
• Participate in regular mentorship and coaching opportunities with leaders across the Development department
• Contribute to additional projects and team initiatives as required

• Recently completed a post-secondary education in related field
• A strong interest in the not-for-profit sector
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools; experience with digital asset management systems or content platforms is an asset
• Familiarity or interest in leveraging AI-enabled enterprise tools (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot) to support productivity and content development is considered an asset.
• Exposure to SharePoint, OneDrive, or other document management and collaboration platforms is an asset.

Hiring Salary Range

• $21.57/hour
• Hours : 35-hour work week, hybrid work model (Tuesdays and Wednesdays are in office days)
